In 2024, Greece's persons aged 25-64 with at least upper secondary educational attainment level by sex increased by 1.2% compared to 2023, reaching 82.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 80.5%.

Greece ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.9% (from 76.8% in 2019).
