In 2020, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 2019, reaching 13.9%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.
Hungary ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.7% (from 14.9% in 2015).
