At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.2% compared to 2019, reaching 11.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.3% (from 12.3% in 2015).
