At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.6% compared to 2023, reaching 14.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Hungary ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 14.0% in 2019).
