In 2010, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.5% compared to 2009, reaching 20.3%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.
Hungary ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.0% (from 19.9% in 2005).
