At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.1% compared to 2009, reaching 19.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Austria ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.2% (from 15.3% in 2005).
