At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.9% compared to 2009, reaching 18.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.5% (from 18.9% in 2005).
