In 2013, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 27.0% compared to 2012, reaching 4.6%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.3%.
Hungary ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.0% (from 4.3% in 2008).
