At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2019, reaching 14.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Hungary ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.8% (from 14.4% in 2015).
