At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.4% compared to 2021, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Hungary ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 13.7% in 2017).
