At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.6% compared to 2009, reaching 12.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Hungary ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.4% (from 13.9% in 2005).
