At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 15.8% compared to 2009, reaching 11.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Slovakia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.4% (from 13.2% in 2005).
