In 2015, Hungary's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 4.1% compared to 2014, reaching 111,326.

Hungary ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 30.9% (from 161,051 in 2010).
