In 2014, Hungary's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 14.0% compared to 2013, reaching 106,939.

Hungary ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.6% (from 125,247 in 2009).
