Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1985, Hungary's population change increased by 3.4% compared to 1984, reaching 12.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 12.8.

Hungary ranks 17th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 12.2% (from 13.9 in 1980).
