Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2014, Hungary's population change increased by 4.4% compared to 2013, reaching 9.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.9.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.0% (from 9.6 in 2009).
