Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2016, Hungary's population change increased by 4.3% compared to 2015, reaching 9.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.9.

Hungary ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.4% (from 8.8 in 2011).
