Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2024, Hungary's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 2.3% compared to 2023, reaching 17.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 12.8%.

Hungary ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.9% (from 17.8% in 2019).
