Share of women researchers in all sectors

In 2021, Hungary's share of women researchers in all sectors increased by 3.9% compared to 2020, reaching 26.9%.

Hungary ranks 19th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.8% (from 26.7% in 2016).
