Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2014, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 23.5% compared to 2013, reaching 7.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Hungary ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 22.7% (from 9.7% in 2009).
