Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 8.3% compared to 2018, reaching 3.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.8%.

Hungary ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 56.0% (from 7.5% in 2014).
