Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2005, Ireland's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 4.0% compared to 2004, reaching 13.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.3%.

Ireland ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 12.9% in 2000).
