Population structure indicators at national level

In 1997, Ireland's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.3% compared to 1996, reaching 31.5.

Ireland ranks 26th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 29.7 in 1992).
