Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2004, Ireland's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 4.0% compared to 2003, reaching 5.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.2%.

Ireland ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 4.9% in 1999).
