Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Ireland's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 3.8% compared to 2006, reaching 5.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.7%.

Ireland ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.0% (from 5.0% in 2002).
