Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2014, Ireland's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.3% compared to 2013, reaching 5.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.3%.

Ireland ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.9% (from 6.1% in 2009).
