Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2005, Ireland's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.3% compared to 2004, reaching 31.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.5%.

Ireland ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.9% (from 31.8% in 2000).
