Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2022, Ireland's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.5% compared to 2021, reaching 20.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.4%.

Ireland ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.1% (from 22.5% in 2017).
