Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2007, Ireland's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 7.9% compared to 2006, reaching 34.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 22.4%.

Ireland ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.1% (from 25.2% in 2002).
