Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2007, Ireland's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.9% compared to 2006, reaching 86.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 84.6%.

Ireland ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.5% (from 86.5% in 2002).
