Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2018, Ireland's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.4% compared to 2017, reaching 85.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 85.8%.

Ireland ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.2% (from 80.8% in 2013).
