At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.0% compared to 2013, reaching 20.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.7%.

Italy ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.0% (from 19.9% in 2009).
