At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.1% compared to 2013, reaching 22.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.7%.

Spain ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 21.3% in 2009).
