Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2008, Italy's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.4% compared to 2007, reaching 14.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 12.5%.

Italy ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.1% (from 12.8% in 2003).
