Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2013, Italy's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.5% compared to 2012, reaching 43.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 40.8%.

Italy ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 41.1% in 2008).
