Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2003, Italy's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.9% compared to 2002, reaching 10.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.8%.

Italy ranks 24th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.6% (from 8.8% in 1998).
