Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2010, Italy's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 2.1% compared to 2009, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.3% (from 12.3% in 2005).
