Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2020, Italy's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.5% compared to 2019, reaching 20.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.8%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.6% (from 17.6% in 2015).
