Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2006, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.1% compared to 2005, reaching 80.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 84.0%.

Italy ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.5% (from 81.8% in 2001).
