Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2007, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 0.5% compared to 2006, reaching 80.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 84.6%.

Italy ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.6% (from 82.3% in 2002).
