Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2010, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 1.3% compared to 2009, reaching 78.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 83.6%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.6% (from 80.5% in 2005).
