Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2017, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.0% compared to 2016, reaching 80.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 85.3%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 78.8% in 2012).
