Income inequality for older people - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Italy's income inequality for older people increased by 4.8% compared to 2023, reaching 10.9.

Italy accounts for 133.1% of the EU-27 total of 8.22.

Italy ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.9% (from 10.1 in 2019).
