Income inequality for older people - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Latvia's income inequality for older people increased by 5.3% compared to 2023, reaching 10.4.

Latvia accounts for 126.3% of the EU-27 total of 8.22.

Latvia ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.2% (from 10.8 in 2019).
