In 2025, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty threshold increased by 8.7% compared to 2024, reaching 27,148.

Italy ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 27.3% (from 21,318 in 2020).
