In 2024, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty threshold increased by 5.7% compared to 2023, reaching 24,966.

Italy ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.7% (from 20,518 in 2019).
