At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 56.8% compared to 2013, reaching 27.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.2%.

Latvia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 42.0% (from 47.6% in 2009).
