At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 27.1% compared to 2009, reaching 20.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Latvia ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.5% (from 20.3% in 2005).
