Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1974, Latvia's population change increased by 1.4% compared to 1973, reaching 14.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.4.

Latvia ranks 17th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 14.0 in 1969).
