Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2020, reaching 43.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.2.

Latvia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 42.9 in 2016).
